"The Future of Nuclear Weapons Policy: Mending the Divided Nuclear House" - Dr. Charles Ferguson
To a near capacity crowd, GSPIA's Matthew B. Ridgway Center was pleased to host Dr. Charles Ferguson, the Philip D. Reed Senior Fellow for Science and Technology at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) as part of its speaker series. Dr. Ferguson is the project director of CFR's Independent Task Force on U.S. Nuclear Weapons Policy, which is chaired by former Secretary of Defense William Perry and former National Security Adviser Brent Scowcroft. They are hoping to publish the task force report within the next couple of months. It will be available on www.cfr.org, a nonpartisan resource on foreign policy as well as national and international security issues.
