Covid-19 Fraud and Illicit Financing

In this project, Ridgway students and scholars examine the efforts of criminal networks, non-state groups, and state actors to exploit the political, social, and economic fallout of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Through engaging in Open Source Intelligence collection and analysis, the project aims to monitor and report trends related to state-led espionage, disinformation, and cybercrime, as well as illicit operations of organized criminal groups and other Advanced Persistent Threats. Ridgway’s contributions are aimed at producing and disseminating comprehensive intelligence assessments and analytic forecasts to enhance understanding of current and emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
